Whether you study full-time or part-time, this 36-credit-hour program helps you refine your knowledge of evidence-based practice, health policy, caring science, communication, and collaboration. You’ll expand your understanding of quality care, professional leadership, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning through upper-level nursing coursework, including:

Nevada State University is authorized to offer online education to students in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and Wisconsin through the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA).

Students are required to hold an active, unencumbered license in the state in which they reside and/or in the state where the student’s practice experiences will occur. These states must be listed as approved above.

RN to BSN – At a Glance

• 36 credit hours.*
• 12 months full-time.*
• 100% online curriculum.
• Tuition for the 36 nursing credits is under $10,000.*

*RNs with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from a regionally accredited learning institution may potentially transfer 38 credit hours toward the degree programs General Education Requirements. They will also receive 37 Prior Learning Credits for prior nursing coursework and successful completion of the NCLEX. Nine additional credit hours may be needed to satisfy General Education Requirements. Tuition is not inclusive of all potential applicable costs and fees, and is subject to change.
